Overview
The Private Playbook is your team's tactical library: every strategy, protocol and setup in one place, with the 2D rounds, board tactics and videos that explain them attached.
It's built for the whole team to work in — coaches document, players check their own tasks, and everything can be exported or synced for match day.

Strategies, protocols & setups
Your tactics live in three formats, each with its own tab — so everything from a full A execute to a one-line team rule has its place:
- Strategy — The full tactic: description, steps, players involved and per-player tasks with utility.
- Protocol — A simple team rule — short and always visible.
- Setup — A default arrangement: description, steps or notes, and the players involved.
A fourth tab, 'My videos', appears when you have cloud recordings — more on it below.

Multiple playbooks
Beyond the full library ('All tactics'), create as many named playbooks as you want — per map, per side, per opponent, per event — and switch game plans in one click:
- Each playbook has a name, a color, and optionally a map and side; selecting it adjusts the filters automatically.
- A tactic can belong to several playbooks at once — adding it to one never removes it from another.
- Move tactics between playbooks by dragging rows onto the sidebar, from each tactic's menu, or in bulk with the multi-select mode.
- Reorder playbooks in the sidebar and tactics inside each playbook by drag & drop; outside playbooks you can pin key tactics.
- Deleting a playbook never deletes tactics — they just leave that playbook.

Attaching resources
A tactic is more than text — attach everything that explains it, so nobody on the team ever asks 'how does this one go?' again:
- External video — Link YouTube, Twitch or Medal videos.
- Tactical board — Link an existing board tactic or draw one inline without leaving the form.
- 2D round — Import a round by pasting a 2D link or picking it from a playlist — it validates the match and map, and plays back inside the tactic.
- Cloud recordings — Attach any of your cloud-recorded videos from the 'My videos' library.

Utility sync from the demo
When a 2D round is linked, the playbook reads the demo so you don't copy utility by hand:
- 'Utility from 2D' detects the players of your side in that round.
- In each task, tag which demo player corresponds to which teammate — their real grenades from the round are copied to the task automatically.
- Utility is always editable by hand: smoke, double flash, HE, molotov, incendiary and decoy toggles per task.
Players can switch to 'Me' mode to see only their own tasks and edit their part — task, utility and their start timestamp in the video.

Categories & organization
The playbook is built to be read mid-practice, not just written:
- Create your own categories (execs, defaults, mid-round — whatever your team uses), rename, reorder and delete them.
- Without a category filter, tactics group by category with an eye toggle to hide the ones already reviewed — ideal for live review sessions; the hidden state persists per team.
- Each tactic has a status: Active, Inactive, Beta or Pending.
- Tactics arriving from Create Playbook show up as pending, with a banner and a one-click 'view pending' filter.
- Search plus map, side, category and status filters, all reflected in the URL so you can deep-link any view.

Cloud recording & My videos
Any tactic with a linked round can become a real in-game video, recorded by our servers straight from the list — no gaming PC, no setup on your side:
- Each row shows the recording state — queued, recording, POVs ready or error — with one-click re-record.
- Recordings share the team's weekly quota, with the remaining count always visible.
- 'POVs ready' opens a player with the recorded POVs of all five players, plus a combined full-video download.
'My videos' is your personal library of recordings: play them, open the round in the 2D, rename, assign to a tactic or delete — with its own search and filters.

Exporting
Made for tournaments where you need the playbook outside the app:
- Excel (.xlsx) — One sheet per type with your current filters, or 'Excel All' with one sheet per map + side combo.
- PDF — A print-ready document; 'PDF All' puts each map + side combo on its own page.
- Copy as text — Plain text to the clipboard — perfect for Steam notes or a quick paste in Discord.
- Batch export — Select multiple tactics and export just that selection to Excel or PDF.

Google Sheets sync
Keep a live copy of the playbook in Google Sheets:
- Connect your Google account — the integration only gets access to files it creates.
- Create or open the team's sheet straight from the Export menu.
- 'Sync now' pushes the current playbook to the sheet on demand.
- Auto-sync keeps the sheet up to date whenever the playbook changes.
