PART 1 — TOURNAMENT TERMS

1. Organizer

The Tournament is organized by cs2.cam, an independent project and brand operated from Argentina ("cs2.cam", "we", "us"). cs2.cam is currently operated as an unincorporated project; any references to a "legal entity" elsewhere in this document refer to the operator behind the cs2.cam brand. For any tournament-related question or formal notice: [email protected].

2. Tournament overview
  • Game: Counter-Strike 2
  • Format: 5v5, single elimination, BO1 throughout the bracket, BO3 Grand Final
  • Slots: 64 teams
  • Region: EU (matches played on EU servers)
  • Map pool: Active Duty (Ancient, Anubis, Dust2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass)
  • Platform: FACEIT (https://www.faceit.com)
  • Dates: 26–27 June 2026 — daily start at 09:00 (GMT-3, Argentina) / 14:00 (CEST, EU)
  • Entry fee: Free
  • Prize for every registered team: A minimum of 1 month of cs2.cam Professional, activated immediately upon completing registration, regardless of bracket result.
3. Eligibility

To participate, every roster player must:

  • Hold an active FACEIT account at Level 10 at the time of registration AND at check-in.
  • Be located in or play from a country eligible to use FACEIT EU servers.
  • Be at least 16 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if between 13 and 16 (subject to local minimum age requirements).
  • Not be currently serving any FACEIT Anti-Cheat ban, VAC ban (within 5 years on CS2), or ban from a previous cs2.cam event.

Teams composed of players who do not meet these criteria are subject to disqualification at any point during the Tournament, including retroactively.

4. Registration

Registration is a two-step process:

Step 1 — FACEIT registration: Sign up your team for the Tournament on the FACEIT championship page and complete the FACEIT Join Screening step.

Step 2 — cs2.cam registration: Your team captain must complete team registration at cs2.cam/en/tournaments/faceit/faceit-cs2cam-tournament.

Registration requires:

  • Authentication via email, Google, or Discord
  • Full name (captain)
  • WhatsApp number (with country code)
  • FACEIT team URL
  • Discord or Telegram username (optional)

Both steps must be completed before check-in opens. Teams that complete only Step 1 may still play in the bracket, but will not be eligible to receive any prize (cash, Premium subscription, or the entry-level free Premium) until both steps are completed.

4.1 Team captain and prize attribution

The "team captain" for the purposes of this Tournament is the cs2.cam user who completes Step 2 above. Only one captain per FACEIT team is accepted; the first successful registration locks the team and any subsequent attempts by other accounts will be rejected.

The captain must be a member of the FACEIT team's registered roster (player or substitute) at the time of registration. cs2.cam may verify this against the FACEIT public roster at any point and may disqualify the team and revoke the prize if the captain is not on the roster.

All prizes (the baseline 1-month Premium and any additional months earned by placement) are activated on the captain's cs2.cam account only and are non-transferable to other team members. The captain is responsible for sharing access to the cs2.cam team workspace with their teammates as the cs2.cam Professional plan permits (multi-seat).

5. Roster
  • Roster lock: Rosters are locked at the moment of FACEIT Tournament registration. Roster changes after lock are only allowed in exceptional circumstances and require written approval from the tournament administrator ([email protected]) at least 24 hours before the Tournament start.
  • Substitutes: Up to two substitutes per team may be declared at registration. A substitute may only enter the active roster between matches, never mid-match, and must also meet all eligibility criteria.
  • Smurfing: Playing under an account that is not your primary FACEIT account, or with a player not on the registered roster, results in immediate disqualification of the team and forfeiture of all prizes.
6. Format details
  • Bracket seeding: Random / FACEIT default seeding.
  • Default match settings: 5v5 Defuse, MR12 (24-round regulation, OT to first to 4 with 6-round halves) — final settings as per FACEIT championship configuration on the day.
  • Map veto: Standard FACEIT veto for BO1 and BO3.
  • Server: FACEIT auto-provisioned EU servers with Anti-Cheat enabled.
  • Coaches: Allowed in voice/observer slot only as permitted by FACEIT settings, no in-game coaching during live rounds beyond the Tournament's defined timeouts.
7. Schedule and check-in
  • Check-in opens: 60 minutes before the first match.
  • Check-in closes: 15 minutes before the first match.
  • No-show: A team that fails to ready up within the FACEIT-defined window (default 5 minutes after match invitation) forfeits the match.
  • Match delays: Tournament admins may delay or reschedule matches at their discretion in case of technical failures, server unavailability, or unforeseen events.
8. Conduct

Players must:

  • Respect FACEIT's Code of Conduct, Anti-Cheat policies, and server rules.
  • Behave respectfully toward opponents, admins, and any third parties (streamers, observers, content creators).
  • Refrain from cheating, exploiting bugs, ghosting, match-fixing, or any form of unsportsmanlike behavior.
  • Refrain from hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or threats of any kind.

Violations may result in warnings, round losses, match losses, disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and bans from future cs2.cam events. Serious violations may be reported to FACEIT and to relevant authorities.

9. Disputes
  • All disputes during the Tournament are handled through the standard FACEIT dispute system in the first instance.
  • Disputes that cannot be resolved by FACEIT may be escalated to cs2.cam tournament admins by emailing [email protected] within 24 hours of the disputed event.
  • Tournament admin decisions are final.
10. Prizes

Total prize pool: ~$9,500 USD (one cash prize + Premium subscriptions for all 64 registered teams).

PlacePrize
1st$300 USDT + 6 months cs2.cam Professional
2nd6 months cs2.cam Professional
3rd3 months cs2.cam Professional
4th2 months cs2.cam Professional
5th–64th1 month cs2.cam Professional each

Every registered team (regardless of bracket result) receives at least 1 month of cs2.cam Professional. The minimum 1-month subscription is activated immediately upon completing registration (§4), even if the team is later eliminated in the first round. Additional months for top placements (see §10) are added on top of the initial month after the Tournament ends.

10.1 Cash prize (1st place — $300 USD)

  • Paid in USDT (Tether) via Binance or to a USDT-compatible wallet on the TRC-20 (Tron) or BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain) networks.
  • The winner must provide a valid Binance UID or USDT wallet address by emailing [email protected] within 14 calendar days of the Tournament's conclusion.
  • If the winner cannot or does not provide valid payout details within 14 days, or cannot legally accept USDT in their country of residence, the cash prize will be converted to an equivalent additional cs2.cam Premium subscription at MSRP (approx. 2 additional months of Professional).
  • Payout is made within 30 calendar days of receipt of valid wallet details.
  • Network fees on the recipient side (if any) are the responsibility of the winner.
  • The winner is solely responsible for any taxes, declarations, or reporting obligations applicable in their country of residence. cs2.cam does not withhold taxes and is not responsible for the winner's tax compliance.

10.2 Premium subscription prizes

  • The baseline 1 month of cs2.cam Professional is activated on the team captain's registered cs2.cam account immediately upon completing registration (§4). Additional months earned by placing in the bracket (5 extra months for 1st/2nd, 2 extra for 3rd, 1 extra for 4th) are added to that account within 7 calendar days after the Tournament ends.
  • Premium subscription prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash equivalent. Under no circumstances may a participant request, demand, or receive money, cryptocurrency, or any other form of monetary compensation in lieu of a Premium subscription. The only exception in this Tournament's prize structure flows in the opposite direction: the $300 USDT cash prize for 1st place may be converted into additional Premium months if the winner cannot or does not accept the USDT payout (see §10.1).
  • A subscription includes the cs2.cam Professional plan features as offered at the date of activation, for the duration awarded, up to the maximum number of seats included in the Professional plan.

10.3 General prize terms

  • Prizes are awarded only to teams that fully completed both registration steps (§4) and that have not been disqualified for any reason.
  • cs2.cam reserves the right to withhold or reclaim any prize awarded to a team subsequently found to be in breach of these Terms.
  • Prizes may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for other goods or services, except as expressly permitted in this document.
11. Image rights and content use

By participating, you grant cs2.cam a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Record, stream, broadcast, and reproduce match footage, demos, statistics, and gameplay metadata generated during the Tournament.
  • Use your team name, logo, captain name (as registered), in-game nickname, and FACEIT public profile information for the purposes of:
    • Tournament communications, recap content, highlight reels, and post-event articles
    • Product feature demonstrations on the cs2.cam platform
    • Posts on cs2.cam-owned social media (X, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.) and on the cs2.cam website
    • Promotional material for future cs2.cam events

You retain ownership of your team brand, IP, and personal image rights. The license granted above is revocable for future uses at any time: you may withdraw your consent for cs2.cam to use your personal name, in-game nickname, or likeness in new material (created after we receive your written request) by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Image rights revocation". We will action the request within 30 days.

Material lawfully published before your revocation request (broadcasts, recap content, social media posts already online, etc.) is not retroactively removed to preserve historical record and the integrity of past Tournament coverage, except where mandatory data protection law (e.g. GDPR Art. 17 — right to erasure) requires otherwise.

12. Cancellation and modification

cs2.cam may, at its sole discretion:

  • Postpone, suspend, or cancel the Tournament (in whole or in part) due to technical issues, low registration, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Modify the format, schedule, prize structure, or rules before registration closes with notice to registered teams.
  • Modify the format, schedule, or rules after registration closes only in the case of force majeure or to ensure fair competition, with notice to all participants.

In the event of full cancellation before any matches are played, all prizes are voided. In the event of partial cancellation after matches have started, prizes are awarded based on the standings at the time of cancellation, at cs2.cam's reasonable discretion.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • cs2.cam is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the Tournament.
  • cs2.cam's total liability to any participant for any cause whatsoever is limited to the value of the prize that participant was entitled to receive, or €100, whichever is greater.
  • cs2.cam is not responsible for FACEIT platform failures, server issues, internet connectivity problems, or any third-party service interruptions.

Nothing in this section limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
